Dave and Buster's or Bust!

Mike and I went with Sarah and Lyric to Dave and Buster's today to have a night out to celebrate Lyric's 2nd birthday which was last week! I thought I'd share a few of the pictures we took.

Lyric and Uncle Mike riding the snowmobile ride. She loved this one. Every time it was over, she'd say "Again! Again!" She rode it with all three of us more than once.

Between us, we'd won 2100 tickets! This is all the stuff Lyric went home with. As you can see, she has a pink Hello, Kitty bracelet, a Princess wallet, a Princess diary, some temporary tattoos, a yellow bear, a pink bear (which she gave to Aunt Sassy aka Me), and a pint glass that she gave to Uncle Mike. As you can tell, it's the end of the night - about 9:30 PM and she's ready to pack it in. She had so much fun, though. We had to pass through the game room on our way to the bathroom and while she was eating, she'd say, "Gameth! Gameth!" and wiggle. She and Mike were done eating really quickly and Uncle Mike took her to play some games while her mom and I finished eating.

I don't know if it's because she doesn't see her Dad as much right now (they split up, tried to reconcile and it looks like they may be splitting again), but she was attached to the hip with Mike. When he went to the washroom, she hollered after him, "Mike! Mike! Mike!" At the end of the night, he went to get the car and picked us up at the door and while he was gone, she said, "Mike! Mike!" and cried until he drove up. Then, I don't think she realized he was driving, because she turned in her seat, looked out the back window and yelled, "No! No! Mike! Mike!" I think she thought we were leaving him behind. When we showed her that he was driving the car, she calmed down and went to sleep on the way home. I'm betting she sleeps good tonight.
